Founded and led by volunteer parents, the Yarmouth Education Foundation partners with our community to help educators and students bring great ideas to life—funding projects, programs, and opportunities that enrich learning for Yarmouth students.
our mission
The Yarmouth Education Foundation (YEF) is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the overall educational experience of students in the Yarmouth School Department. The Yarmouth Education Foundation will promote and enhance educational excellence by generating independent funding for innovative educational projects and initiatives that fall outside the regular school budget and support the curriculum.
SPECIFICALLY, THE YARMOUTH EDUCATION FOUNDATION:
Provides grants that help educators create meaningful learning opportunities for students.
Supports emerging educational needs and experiences that enhance teaching and learning across the district.
Strengthens partnerships among schools, businesses, and the broader Yarmouth community in support of public education.

Professional Development
In addition to our traditional grant cycles, the YEF Board of Directors is proud to have awarded over $30,000 in professional development scholarships. These funds have enabled Yarmouth teachers to attend the renowned Learning & The Brain Conferences, returning inspired to share their knowledge with peers, YEF, and their classrooms.
Grants
YEF advances Yarmouth’s educational excellence by providing independent funding for innovative projects, enrichment programs, and creative initiatives beyond the standard budget.
To date, YEF has awarded over $800,000 in grants, benefiting thousands of Yarmouth students.
Clipper Honors
The Clipper Honors Program lets guardians thank, honor, or celebrate educators and staff members while supporting the Yarmouth Education Foundation.
With a $25 donation, a $10 local gift card will be given to the educator or staff member of your choice, and the remaining donation will benefit the Yarmouth Education Foundation.
